Born into this world in the early 80's I have accomplished maybe 1/2 of the things I always have wanted to do. I was born in a small town in Nevada and moved around several times as a kid. By the time I was 11 I had moved 6 times to 6 different small towns, based on my dad's job in the mining industry and the unstable lifestyle but wonderful money it provides. At age 11, I was still innocent enough and thought that the world was a fabulous place. I thought being stable in one place could be nice, but little did I know...living in one place for so long seems to bring out the worst in people and show you that the world isn't so kind. However it made me the person I am today and I wouldn't change anything I've done, none of my experiences, and I have no regrets except I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have.
I went to community college and received an Associate of Science Degree, then went up to Southern Oregon University and earned my Bachelor's Degree, graduated with Honors (yep, I am a nerd). Now I work for the government doing environmental type work, though it is less environmental and more compliance with laws, but at least it relates to my degree. I got offered this job during my last quarter in college, accepted and headed back down to Nevada, close to where I grew up (after age 11) and here I be. I am now a mommy, my baby girl Chihuahua was born around Christmas 2005, and I have been with my boyfriend since February 2005, we live together (have moved twice together) and are buying a house and car together. He has two boys, both mildly autistic and a bitch of an ex-wife that we have to deal with every now and then...but all in all we have the almost "perfect family", you know the one I'm talking about, a house, 2.5 children, a dog and a white picket fence....yeah, we have all of that but the 0.5 children (I don't know where you get half a kid from). Well that is plenty to digest so I will head on now and get back to my not so normal life.
